  • Owning or managing a site with a focus on achieving sales, leads, and/or phone calls.

  • Having the ability to edit sections of your site, count with a web developer that can implement given changes you'd make, or be part of a team where you can influence bosses/directors to make quality changes on your site.

What you don't need to be:

  • Expert on Marketing, User Experience (UX), Designer

  • Web developer

  • Experienced marketer


Please remember: to influence technical changes on your site we need to first understand the context and address our mindset.
Mindset is important because is the main driver behind your web decisions (whether they be design, business, content, or technical related).


All you see here is based on my own experience after working for more than 15+ years in the marketing arena, and after auditing more than 1500+ websites in the past 4yrs. There is plenty of documentation around but also a lot of noise: I'm condensing everything into the key elements you need to learn to get an advantage over competitors.
