Your success as a leader is based on your ability to lead from within. After all, if you can't lead yourself, how can you lead others?! This course focuses on the importance of self-awareness, the role of the empowering leader, the differences/similarities between leadership and management, leadership styles and leadership values and principles. The course features lots of opportunities for self-reflection which is a critical factor for leaders to become more self-aware and effective in their roles. Besides lectures by the author Dr Richard Carter, there are links to other global leadership experts such as Bill George, Bev James, Lars Sudmann and John Kotter. And there are a few quizzes to make it more fun and engaging. Finally, you'll be introduced to a new concept "The Organic Leader" that highlights the key skills and behaviors leaders need to be successful in today's world.
