Shanti is a trained yoga teacher, with deep experience in meditation and mindfulness. In this course she will teach you short, simple mindful meditations that you can do anywhere if you have a spare few minutes. You will also learn how to use your breath, and take your mind on a tour of your body, in order to achieve deep relaxation. Finally, you will learn two examples of Yoga Nidra, which is also called sleep yoga. If you have trouble sleeping, listening to a Yoga Nidra recording may overcome sleep problems. Yoga Nidra can also be used at lunch time to give yourself a blast of cool, calm energy for the afternoon (but don't fall asleep). The practices taught can be used on a stand alone basis, or they can be combined. The more often you can listen and practice some of the techniques from the course, the greater the benefits are likely to be. Even if you can only spare 5 minutes a day it's worth it, because you're worth it. If you're tired of being tired, take some time out of the rat race, step off the wheel, and start breathing. You might be surprised where your mind takes you, or you might just have a good rest.
