Our aim

When designing this Lean Six Sigma course, we aimed to:

• Offer the same quality Lean Six Sigma training and certification as in Dutch higher education;

• Offer that Lean Six Sigma training and certification experience affordably;

• Make this Lean Six Sigma training and certification course highly practical. We ditched the nonsense and focused on what you need in practice.

• Include a lot of fun and interactive elements in the Lean Six Sigma training;

• Provide student the feeling that the teacher is sitting next to him/her and is sharing his personal experiences instead of just narrating a bunch of slides copied from some book.

Brief description of this course

This Six Sigma Black Belt training and certification course aims to make you a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, after which you can continue the certification process to become a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.   

The Lean Six Sigma (or 6 sigma) methodology has helped organizations throughout the world cut costs and improve service to their consumers by making production efficient and integrating the customers’ demand in the provided products and services. That is the essence of Lean Six Sigma.

Lean Six Sigma knowledge is often cited as a prerequisite for applying to many job vacancies in supply chain consultancy, IT, health care, manufacturing, engineering, banking etc. Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt professionals earn on average 40% more than comparable non-certified professionals.    

Lean Six Sigma proficiency is categorized in belt colors. Lean Six Sigma Black Belt holders are assumed to master the core Six Sigma techniques and are a valuable asset to organizations that strive to increase profits, reduce costs and offer consistent, customer-centered service. Master The Application Of Lean Six Sigma Principles To Skyrocket Efficiency.     

• Apply Six Sigma statistics in Microsoft Excel (no experience required)   

• Apply the Kano model to better understand the customers's needs    

• Use multiple OLS regression to quantify complex business relationships

• Design complex experiments to optimize products/services (DOE)   

• Calculate confidence intervals

• Calculate the time value of financial flows

• Use theory of constraints to optimize speed of manufacturing or services

• Understand financial decision making with NPV

• Use visual management to control your business and staff

• Use innovative audit methods to control your aims

• Use QFD (Quality function deployment) to (re)design products and services.

• Master surveys, interviews, and observational methods such as spaghetti diagrams and eye tracking (heat maps) to measure complex data.

All the Lean Six Sigma lectures are designed and taught by Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belts who teach in Dutch Higher education and also work in practice outside the academic sector and have supervised Lean Six Sigma projects for companies like Audi, Lufthansa and the Dutch military.
