Securing Hadoop Cluster using Kerberos and Sentry

Are you an experienced Hadoop and Spark Professional either as a Developer or an Administrator and want to learn how to set up clusters from scratch as per Topology and enable Kerberos on it?

As part of this course, you will go through step by step process of Setting up Clusters using Cloudera Distribution of Hadoop and Spark as per Topology and then enable as well as validate Kerberos using Cloudera Manager.

• Build Topology Sheet as per the requirements to setup Clusters

• Use existing nodes and setup cluster as per topology

• Add CSD for Spark and Spark 2

• Configure High Availability for Namenode

• Understand core concepts of Kerberos or Kerberos Essentials

• Enable Kerberos using Cloudera Manager

• Validate Kerberos by creating users and running jobs

• Add Sentry to the cluster and understand how security in Hive is enforced using Sentry
