How to sell stock photos and vectors on Shutterstock

As graphic designers, we have so many options to sell our artwork online, and the best site for selling stock images is Shutterstock (in my opinion)!

I've been a Shutterstock contributor for about 4 years, and I currently have over 6000 images on Shutterstock. I make a pretty nice side income from Shutterstock, in fact, I earn more from Shutterstock than any of my other side businesses.

But it wasn't always this way.

At the beginning, as a new contributor, I struggled. I didn't yet understand that Shutterstock has an algorithm, just like Google, that rewards certain behavior. Now, I'm not saying I have knowledge of that algorithm, but when I set goals and developed a strategy, I noticed my portfolio performed much better.
