Self Care During Social Distancing-Surviving COVID 19

Salem Training Institute aims to develop course content to assist people in learning more about Mental Health Wellness. Self-Care During Social Distancing-COVID 19 was developed by a Mental Health Professional. this class is designed to help those that are struggling with stress during the COVID 19. Participants will learn coping skills for social distancing and dealing with the challenges of COVID 19. Depression and Anxiety is discussed in detail to assist participants in identifying symptoms. A brief psychoeducation on two common therapeutic models Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness is reviewed. Participates will leave this course with the knowledge of self-awareness and coping strategies. A real-life testimony is given but dictated by the instructor. This testimony is to help normalize the experiences that many of us have had during this difficult time.
