This is a course on Rococo Architecture. Rococo Architecture blossomed in Europe following the Baroque Period of Architecture. It is an architectural style associated with wealth, prestige and power. It is a light and gay architecture based on natural forms such as shells and vines. It is an architecture that creates Sans soucis environments, environments without worries. Rococo Architecture created a very distinctive style that influenced buildings throughout Europe and by extension to other parts of the world.
