Retouching Portraits in Photoshop

The ability to retouch an image is as important as having the ability to take a photo!  In this day of Instagram filters, and phone apps that can transform any photo into a work of art, people expect their photos to look amazing.  In this class, I'll use the basic Photoshop tools to retouch a traditional studio portrait. I chose to use a studio portrait to retouch because the subject is nicely lit, and the image is free from distractions.  The methods I use will work on any person in any lighting situation. I will teach you how to fix stray hairs, use adjustment layers to color the eyes, add shadows and highlights to the skin and hair, and many other tips and tricks that retouchers use to make portraits look amazing.  These are skills you'll be able to perform on any image you want to enhance.
