Proprietary and Retail Trading for Beginners

Get to grip with the fundamentals and technicals to trading: be able to define and group trading instruments into their several classes; be able to identify what news or economical data affects those groupings; understand the basics to executing trades; be able to chart and make useful meaning of oscillators and trading studies; be able to identify entry and exit levels; understanding risk and how to manage it; stand a better chance at making consistent and conservative profits.

1. This course is designed for beginners to the FX, CFD and Futures markets. It does not cover Options trading.

2. This course only covers outright trading and therefore, anyone wishing to trade strategies (calendar spreads): butterflies, condors, arbitrages etc should only take this course only to build on their knowledge of trading and not necessarily to trade using strategies.

3. This course is not suitable for advanced traders, as information covered should be common everyday trading practice.

4. This course doesn’t guarantee you will be successful at trading, but it gives you a better statistical chance of having conservative consistent profits.

5. You don’t require a degree but we strongly recommend a strong numeracy command at O’ Level (or equivalent) or higher.

6. This course is perfect for anyone considering applying for a Career Program with a Proprietary Trading Firm or Hedge Fund dependent on their entry requirements.

7. At the end of this course, you will be able to trade CFDs, FX  and Futures from home competently. 

8. Lastly, an interest in politics, current events, and business news as well as economic is mandatory in order to be successful.

9. This course comes prepared with a trading game that will go live after the course has been published. You will also need to write a summary of Trading In The Zone Chapter 1 through to 11, chapter by chapter each with it's own summary on it's correspondent lesson number, i.e Lesson 1 will require Chapter 1 summary on top of your homework before proceeding with the next lecture.
