This course is a result of 25 years of consulting project and portfolio management experience, including creating business cases for numerous projects at various organizations. The course will start with a brief overview of project portfolio management. Then we will review the key components of a typical Business Case document including short scope description, departments/systems impacted, estimates, key benefits/feasibility, high-level solution view and assumptions/risks/constraints. I will also share a sample Business Case from one of the projects I worked on and discuss it in detail.
