Finally, a program that shows you exactly what you need to land any Product Management job regardless of if you are transitioning into Product Management or you are a Senior Director.
What if you could instantly grab the attention of recruiters...
blow away any hiring manager...
land the product management role of your dreams
Hi, I'm Shanea Leven. I'm the founder and CEO of a developer platform called CodeSee, but my passion is product management. Most recently, I was a VP of Product at a startup called Lob, and I've spent many years as a product leader who has built developer platforms at Google, Docker, eBay, Cloudflare, and other various startups.
For a while, I felt stuck trying to transition into product management. I already had relevant work experience, but I didn't have the title of product manager. So I read everything that I could. I bought every book, read every interview question, I practiced interview questions with a friend on the phone every day for years, untile I finally transitioned into being a PM.
But once I did, everything stopped. Once you become an experienced PM, there are fewer and fewer resources for those of us who want to transition into PM, gain experience early on and then move on to Senior PM. And I felt stuck.
So I did what most of us do to get unstuck, trial, and error.
I spent YEARS dreaming and stressing about the same thing -- how do I get good enough to become a VP? And because I felt like I was throwing spaghetti at the wall and figuring out what stuck, I felt major imposter syndrome. I thought, am I doing the right thing? This other person sounds so much more impressive than I am, why would they want me?
And I'm not alone! Imposter syndrome is a real problem that almost nobody talks about.
Do you know anyone like this? Now a tougher question.
When have you done this?
It's easy to look at other people and scoff. I'm guilty of this too!
But let's talk about you.
When have you let your imposter syndrome, or your inner critic, hold you back from something you really, honestly, want? Career growth, becoming a manager, or even better, becoming a director, although you really wanted it, it just didn't happen. Getting stuck because of imposter syndrome happens to smart, successful people, not just lazy lumps.
There are people who are exceptional at their jobs, have solid credentials, and are a beacon of integrity and humanity, and then hit an invisible ceiling and can't figure out how to keep growing. People who get good but never quite make it to great.
Why do some people plateau so early? Why do some people get stuck? And how do others seem to keep stacking up success after success until their accomplishments, work, and lives feel completely unattainable (yet we know they started in the same place we did)?
"MAYBE I'M MISSING SOMETHING"
I became obsessed figuring out how to progress up the career ladder as a product manager. I thought to myself the only difference between them and me is that they had more opportunities to collect these impressive-sounding products and then I thought,
How do I get the greatest number of opportunities to collect the most impressive-sounding products?
Sure, some people look for answers. What are the usual "solutions" people seek out? For a lot of people, they don't even get to solutions. They get stuck and think,
"I don't live in Silicon Valley so I could never sound impressive’
...or, "I'm not technical enough so I could never get a role like that"...or they obsess over memorizing the answer to pointless interview questions.
(Know anyone like this?)
But the heartbreaking thing is that they genuinely believe if they do the same thing as everyone else, then all their problems will disappear, and they'll be able to nail that goal they've wanted for years.
In all honesty:
They could memorize a bunch of interview questions, but they won't get past the resume screen.
They don't have the right title so they won't come up in LinkedIn searches
Their resume just lists the same job duties as every other product manager instead of their accomplishments, and they will not pass the 6-second test
You can know all of the right answers, but if you don't give off an air of unrelenting confidence, you won't get an offer.
Meanwhile, there are a few of us who are quietly playing a completely different game.
THE SECRET SKILL OF PM INTERVIEWS AT ANY LEVEL
I had a Google hiring manager tell me to my face that I wouldn’t pass the Google PM interviews and although I passed the team interviews I was too afraid to try and that experience has haunted me every day. Years later after leaving Google I tried again and passed. The secret is...
Collecting and then framing your accomplishments
In other words, telling recruiters and hiring panels, this is what I've done at other companies. You walk them through your thinking and then you show them this is what I can do for you and more ... if you hire me.
When you know how to craft a dominant narrative around accomplishments, you can actually beat out people with more experience than you!
This is PM Interviews by Level.
I provide you with a concrete set of steps, mentalities, and resources that you can use to collect, curate, and frame your accomplishments no matter where you are in your PM career.
Plus, I teach you specific expectations for each level so you can chart out your plan to progress.
Finally, I'll give you hacks that you can use along the way to speed up your trajectory.
But don't take my word for it.
Put yourself in the hiring manager's shoes.
When they look at your resume, what do they know about you? What do they know after 10 seconds? Are they impressed by your accomplishments? Do you even list your accomplishments?
Try it right now. Pull out your resume. Pretend you didn't know this person. Skim it for 10 seconds.
What do you remember? What's memorable? Do you come across as remarkable?
If not, don't worry. I can help you go from ordinary to remarkable.
I'm sure you're thinking
"How am I supposed to get ahead when I'm so busy / my boss keeps giving me last-minute work/ I don't have enough money? It must be nice to be able to focus on one thing. But something always comes up for me."
Yes, you may need to make sacrifices. This course is hard work. But once you have the tools, you can use them over and over again. I tripled my income using these tactics, and I increased the response rate on my resume by about 50%.
"I've tried so many different projects, new skills, and they all fizzle out. For some reason, it just never works out. I don't know. Maybe I'm not as qualified as those other people…"
"Lots of other people have done it -- people who won't work as hard, people who won't put as much time in. If they can do it, you can too. You're talented enough. It's just a matter of knowing where and what to focus your time on for where you are in your career and apply not blanket approaches.
"I already work hard. What else am I supposed to do? I don't have any more hours in the day."
Every one of us has the same amount of hours in the day. How do other people do it?
They make a really hard choice. Sometimes it's the sacrifice of spending time away from your kids. Or it's reading a book until 2 am because you just stopped working at 11 pm. Do you have to make these choices? Absolutely not. But someone else will. And if you are trying to play catch up and you are already behind, it's likely you will fall even further behind.
This is the unspoken, hidden game of rocketing up the career ladder that allows winners to keep winning while everyone else -- even smart, talented people -- get stuck and don't even know why.
It took me years of work, research, networking, and sheer trial-and-error to discover the deep, inner skills that separate Product Leaders from product managers. The skills that give product leaders the rare edge we all crave. Yes, skills. These skills can be taught, practiced, and perfected.
How come nobody talks about this? The short answer is: It doesn't sell. The vast majority of people are looking for quick tactics." But a small group of people doesn't want to focus on tactics. They want to focus on mastery.
I've packaged up all the insights and lessons I learned years ago…plus advanced material I never knew back then.
Finally… I'm ready to share it with you.

SOME PEOPLE CHOOSE TO BE STUCK.
OTHERS CHOOSE TO GET AHEAD.
We spend most of our lives going through our toughest challenges alone. We see others' successes and wonder how they did it. We feel guilty about our own lives and career trajectory.
We resign ourselves to our social skills, never understanding that they are "skills" that can be systematically improved.
And we settle for our jobs, our finances, even our lifestyle!
Worst of all, we rarely share our struggles…since we're "supposed" to know how to do these things on our own (right?).
What I've learned is we don't have to struggle through these challenges. If we JUST got help on the most significant 4-5 sticking points in our lives, we could soar by leaps and bounds.
Most people go a lifetime chasing random tactics, becoming frustrated, and even giving up.
Think about it — that's DECADES of frustration.
How many people do you know who let opportunity after opportunity sail by…even though they claim they want a better life?
You don't have to do this alone. I went through the painstaking process of discovering, distilling, and teaching these essential components ascending through the PM ranks.
These aren't one-time techniques you'll use this week or next month. In fact, these aren't "techniques" at all.
These are the deep skills embodied by everyone who has "won" the PM game. - So it's natural
that you have lifetime access to this course -- since I expect you'll refer back to this now, five years from now, even 15 years from now, as you progress through each level.
I created PM Interviews by Level as your "secret playbook" to improve your confidence, develop your focus on the right skills, and take control of your career growth. You don't have to tell anyone you joined the course.
They'll just notice your quiet confidence, the new way you carry yourself, and -- when times get stressful -- how calm you are.
Nobody can ever take those away from you.
Let's take this journey together.
