PCNSE certification validates your knowledge of the Security Operating Platform, ensuring you can make use of its full functionality to benefit your company and showcase your expertise. The Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) is a formal, third-party proctored certification that indicates that those who have passed it possess the in-depth knowledge to design, install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot most implementations based on the Palo Alto Networks platform. The students must have the knowledge of Initial Configuration, Interface Configuration, Security and NAT Policies, App ID, Content ID, URL Filtering, Decryption, Wildfire, User ID, GlobalProtect, Site-to-Site VPN, Monitoring and Reporting & Active/Passive High Availability.
Students must have a basic familiarity with networking concepts including routing, switching, and IP addressing. Students also should be familiar with basic security concepts. Experience with other security technologies (IPS, proxy, and content filtering) is a plus.
