Painting Textures in Watercolor

In this course I'll show you how to improve your painting by adding textures. At the end of this course you will have the skills you need to paint many of the common textures we see around us. You will have the ability to simplify complicated things like rust and rocks and glass and trees, and paint them in a way that captures their very essence.

I'll show you how to make shiny things look shiny, and the best way to paint the texture of stone walls and brickwork, metal, hair, fur and clothing. I'll also introduce you to some exciting ways of making random textures that can liven up any painting.

You can work through the course from beginning to end or just dip into it whenever you want to find out how to create the texture you need.
In each video I show you step-by-step how to create the texture, and I've also produced a pdf instruction sheet to go with each one.

This course is for you if you are just starting out with watercolors and you're not sure how to go about it, or if you have been painting for a while and want to improve the quality of your paintings or find some new techniques and ideas.
