Online Multi-Media Journalism

Right from the comfort of your home, anywhere in the world, you can turn your computer into a money maker as your webcam becomes your own camera for online videos, either the audio device on your phone, or a special digital record can help you to record podcasts, and your social media network turns you into a social media star that will have you top-ranked in Google with everything that you do and developing a strong reputation for yourself as an online journalist.

Learn how to write visually and orally for broadcast online media. Money can be made working in the freelance broadcast business online, such as online videos, podcasting, and social media. This course will also train you to work for broadcast media such as online media stations and to create your own TV show, plus create a TV studio and radio/audio studio right inside of your own to run and own your own media empire.

Week 1: Introduction to online media journalism

Homework: Begin to start your blog for the final class using one of the online blogging software platforms recommended that is free.

Week 2: Learning the power of audio production and editing

Homework: Work on your audio production and editing using the audio editing software recommended in the class that is free.

Week 3: Learning the power of video production and editing

Homework: Work on your video production and editing assignment for your blog with the video editing software that is recommended and free for the class.

Week 4: Learning the power of social media

Homework: If you do not have an account already, start opening accounts with some trusted and major social media sites online and announcing your homework assignments to your family and friends.

Week 5: Special last week's class of putting it all together and creating a multi-media blog, plus questions and answers.

Homework: Connecting the social media sites on your blog and spreading the word of your blog by inviting friends, family, and co-workers if you choose to in order to follow your blog, plus create postings to your social media network to promote your blog which can build into your own online magazine or newspaper.
