As the name suggests, this course has been designed for Decision Makers. It is short & succinct, but explains core concepts of Management Accounting & Decision-Making Techniques in a simple manner.

It will be equally useful I hope, for the Professional Manager, as well as the Student of professional courses.

At the end of several video lessons, there is a short objective quiz to test your understanding.

In Section 1, we introduce Cost Accounting Basics before moving on to Relevant Cost. A detailed explanation of Marginal Costing, Break-Even Point, & Key Factor Analysis is followed by an assessment of Strategic Decisions like Make or Buy, Accept or Reject, & Shut Down or Continue.

Some Notes are also included  in Lecture 1: Introduction; for your ready reference at any time.

A short Quiz wraps up Section 1.

Section 2 covers Standard Costing, Variances, Controllable & Non-Controllable Variances - & explains when it's time to probe deeper.

A discussion on Activity Based Costing is next. It  also includes a Case Study to hone your skills & to increase your confidence.

A Final Quiz & the course is complete.

There is an Assignment complete with Solution. My request is that you attempt it on your own first, before viewing the solution.
