Python Basics Training

After this course you are able to install Python on your computer and create small programs like todo-lists. You have learned basic building blocks like data types, variables, lists, loops, conditions and functions. You know what Python is and how to use its libraries. You have learned how to organise your code with modules.

This course is for people who want to learn how to program. You need no prior programming experience as you will learn all the basics, from installing Python, writing your first program to small applications like todo-list.

The training uses many practical examples that show you how to perform common tasks. But learning HOW to do things is not enough. In this course, you also learn WHY you do things a certain way. Each example starts with a blank document so you can follow each step in the programming process.

My name is Loek van den Ouweland and I’m a Python Trainer. I teach beginners how to create their first programs and I help professionals to understand Python better.

The feedback I get from my students is that the course is well structured with lot’s of practical examples, they had a lot of fun during the training and it convinced them that programming at any level, is not magic, but a learnable skill!
