A Session Player supports one or more artists during a live performance or in the studio. He/she is hired by the music producer, contractor, artist/band or the record/film/video production company to play whatever music is going to be performed or recorded at that session.

In this course you will learn the most important skills you need to have as a musician to be chosen for a session, enabling you to demonstrate exceptional professionalism and highlight your stylistic flexibility.

In this class students will learn how to analyze and "drive" a song, while effectively incorporating instructions from third parties. With the ability to quickly learn parts and make necessary adjustments, students will be able to fulfill the needs of the producer or recording artist that hired them.
