About Me:


Hi, I’m Jennifer Seven. I’m the owner of 7 Company Weight Loss and Wellness Center. I’ve been helping people lose weight and get healthy for over 10 years.


I come from a family background where poverty led to many health problems typical of a poor diet: diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. My mom struggled with high blood pressure and died of a stroke.


As a result of knowing my family history of disease and poor health, I have always been passionate about helping others with their health. Although I didn’t originally go into a healthcare field as a profession, I found myself drawn back into it because of my son who had ADHD. I found that nutrition was key to managing his condition and that most people didn’t understand what they were eating. I wanted to help.


In 2009, I started a health and wellness company--we started by setting up health fairs for corporations in the Washington DC metro area. But eventually, I realized that I wanted to help people on a more one-on-one basis, so I started my company 7Company Weight Loss & Wellness Center in 2010.


Since then I’ve helped hundreds, if not thousands, of people, lose weight and get healthy. I have so much compassion for the struggle that people have with their weight. Women in particular often feel ashamed and unattractive. They no longer want to be in the “family photo.” I want to help get them back in that photo.


I have also been certified by the Chopra Center as a meditation teacher because I know that our issues around self-image and weight go deeper than just what you eat and that meditation and mindfulness can have a powerful effect. I am well-equipped to help my clients have a more holistic approach to their overall well-being that encompasses mind, body, and spirit.
