Intro to Statistics

Hi. In this course you will learn all about the basics of Statistics which will be the first of four video series for statistics and a first year degree level mathematics course (the other five being Intro to algebra and linear algebra, Functions, vectors and calculus, Intro to real analysis, Computational mathematics and intro to mechanics).

At the start of this course if you decide to buy it I will go over a video clearly stating the specification and how the exam structure will be set out as well as the course as a whole as well.

In this video series you will learn about different topics in different videos and at the end of each video lesson I will then give you a series of questions which is based on what I have covered in the lesson. You can then have a go at these questions if you wish and I will then go through the answers in the next video as well as cover new content for the course.

Once I have covered all the content in the first third unit of this module I will then go through a practice paper based on the topics covered which you can then have a go and and then I will go through in detail where the marks will come from. I will also repeat this process in the second exam paper once you have done units two and three as well.

Once I have covered all the content in the first third of the module I will then give you a exam based on the topics we have covered which will be out of 36 marks and will be worth 30% of your final module mark. Then once you have completed that exam paper you will then do the remaining two thirds of the module and you will then be given a second exam paper once you have completed units 2 and 3. This exam paper will be out of 64 marks and will be worth the remaining 70% of your module mark.

Then once you have done these two papers you will add up your score to get a total and if you get 40 marks or more in total you will pass the module.
