How to teach a second language online

Welcome to our Teaching  Online course!

Get an idea of how teaching online can be similar and different in many ways to a face-to-face classroom.

We've put together all you need to know and help you to feel positive about this new and accessible way of tutoring. 

Whether you're already teaching online for a company or you have your own tutoring business, you'll learn to go beyond the mainstream and traditional classroom and explore new ways to deliver your lessons.

Plus, brush up on your teaching skills for motivation and new ideas!

By the end of the course you'll be better able to:

- experience platforms that facilitate teaching and learning;

- work with group and one-to-one lessons online;

- get ideas to do internet-based activities and games;

- have a short assessment in which you'll practice some peer observation with one of our fellow teachers and get feedback once you submit your answers through Google Forms;

Although the course is delivered in English and ESL is the main target, the practices work for any language.
