Handwriting for Little Learners: Printing the Alphabet

Welcome to Mrs. Bacchus' Class!

This course will help your child develop correct letter formation of the lowercase letters. It will also help you support your child in learning to write.

These are simple and memorable lessons that will help your toddler, preschooler, or school-aged child learn to print the lowercase letters of the alphabet. There are 26 video lessons, one for each letter of the alphabet. They are about one minute long. There is also a downloadable resource for parents/teachers with information about pencil grasp, suggestions for using the video lessons, and tips for making it fun for children.

This course will be helpful for:

• Parents of advanced toddlers or preschoolers who are able to draw circles and horizontal and vertical lines

• Parents of school-aged children who are beginning to learn to print the letters

• Parents of school-aged children who have difficulty with correct letter formation

• Teachers of little learners who are looking for a simple and effective handwriting resource

I'm Mrs. Bacchus, a certified, working Kindergarten teacher in Ontario, Canada. I use this teaching method every day in my own classroom and have seen wonderful results. In this course, I model how to print each letter and I model making common mistakes (and how to deal with making a mistake!)
