Getting Started in C++

This course prepares a student for a more in-depth course in programming.  The primary goal is to level the student so that they can more fully participate in a course designed for experienced programmers.

The course starts with basic information on data representation and how the computer processes data and executes instructions.  Next, the course walks through popular development tools and their use.  Finally, we introduce the basic concepts in C++.
