GDPR Manual and latest Case Law

This course is intended as a manual on the GDPR. It provides a thorough breakdown of the most relevant aspects of the Regulation, combined with practical examples and explanations of how the GDPR's provisions should be applied in the business reality. For example, the course deals in detail with email marketing and clarifies what should be taken into consideration in order to avoid the extreme penalties of the Regulation, it uses practical examples and latest regulatory decisions to explain consent and what makes consent under the GDPR legal. In addition, the course covers, by giving practical examples of recent case law, cookies also by reference to the "cookie law", transfer of data to third countries, Standard Contract Clauses  and relevant case law such as Schrems I and Schrems II, Planet49, Fashion ID, Ministerio Fiscale, Google Spain, Google v CNIL and GC & others vs CNIL and Google. Note that the free version of the course does not contain all the lectures.
