Welcome to Font Making Made Easy. This course is designed for anyone interested in learning how to make their own hand-drawn font. We will cover the most basic fundamentals of creating letters and then vectorize in illustrator. Then we will take the letters to the fontself wherein we will create the font in otf format. The extension is suitable for both Mac and PC users.
We will be creating the seaweed font from scratch. Learn how to use those skills to make more complex fonts with an emphasis on selling in market. This course is intended for both Mac and PC users. We will be creating the seaweed script lowercase letters with tonnes of alternates, ligatures and sans serif Uppercase Letters. Also numbers and punctuations are covered in this course.
This class is for anyone just getting started with Illustrator, and wants to take their skills to the next level! It’s certainly helpful if you’ve worked with Illustrator a time or two, but definitely not necessary.
As a bonus I am giving away Seaweed font for free, so you can dissect the font and make your own.
