This course is the foundation stone of statistics, as its understanding will be helpful throughout the statistical analysis. We will learn different statistical parameters like central tendency, the measure of deviation, variance, standard deviation, moment, skewness and kurtosis, are use to describe a statistical variable completely and also the understanding of different frequency distribution curves, their skewness and kurtosis with easy to understand explanations and examples. We will also learn how to study inequalities in the distribution graphically and how to measure them through Lorenz curve and Ginni's index

At the end of my course, students will be able to...

Draw conclusions out of statistical data and graphs.

Will able to compare and draw conclusions based on statistical data using standard Deviation.

Able to draw Lorenz curve on excel and can calculate significant value for Lorenz curve using Ginni's index.

Understands the empirical relationship between different statistical parameters that are average, standard deviation etc.

Can calculate moment of variables. 

Can use different coefficients based on moment to calculate skewness and kurtosis.
