Fingerstyle for the Curious Guitarist

Welcome to Fingerstyle for the Curious Guitarist!  This is a complete fingerstyle & fingerpicking guitar course that takes you from a beginner to an advanced level of playing & improvising using fingerstyle technique.

Any kind of six-string guitar will work well for this course - electric, acoustic, or classical guitar.

This course has only one section: Fingerstyle Guitar.  The first few lessons will quickly get us up-to-speed with our terminology, such as our string names, reading tablature, and the naming of our picking fingers.  After that, we'll explore technique after technique of fingerstyle approaches to playing anything & everything without the use of a pick.

You can learn everything in this course without having to read music. Everything in this course is in tab form.

Several lesson videos have PDFs attached in the "additional resources" tab which are the tabs (tablature) & text lessons. You can download, save, & print these.  Be sure to get all the PDFs.

By the end of this course,  you'll have all the tools you need to play anything on the guitar using a fingerstyle approach.
