Developmental Theories in Psychology Part I

This course will cover Sigmund Freud, a biography of him, and then two of his most influential developmental theories including Psychoanalytical and Psychosexual Development. Following these theories will be a brief quiz. After Freud's section, there will be information covering Erik Erikson's biography. After Erikson's biography will be a description of his Psychosocial Developmental Theory. There will also be a short quiz addressing Erikson's theory. This course will be useful in learning, understanding, and refreshing information regarding two of the most influential psychoanalysts and their theories regarding child development. People will be able to leave this course with a deeper understanding of the theories, childhood development, and inspiration to continue to learn much more within the field of developmental social sciences.
