Development of Life Skills and Professional Practices

The module featuring, Development of Life Skills and Professional Practices, govern on the whole, life skills education, have found to be an effective psychosocial intervention strategy, in particular towards the effective means for promoting positive social, and mental health of adolescents. This for sure lets in and  plays an important role in all aspects such as strengthening coping strategies and developing self-confidence and emotional intelligence.

We have had notion from the  World Health Organization (WHO) which  has defined life skills as, "the abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life". This contributes to the fact of Defining Essential Life Skills and includes largely,  Communication and interpersonal skills, Decision-making and problem-solving as few of the important expertise.

Also for the inception,  life skills education bridges the gap between basic functioning and capabilities.  In addition the very nurturing of the Creative thinking and critical thinking provide children with important tools for development, such as independent thinking, how to socialize and make new friends and effectively reflects, communication as the essence of human relationships. Therefore, one of the most important life skills is being able to communicate effectively with others.

The module showcases, Life skills as defined as “a group of psychosocial competencies and interpersonal skills that help people make informed decisions, solve problems, think critically and creatively, communicate effectively, build healthy relationships, empathize with others, and cope with and manage their lives in a healthy, in particular. The module Life skills are abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour for the professionals that enable individuals  to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of life as a priority to harness the effective workforce of the future.
