Choosing colours is one of the most enjoyable aspects of design. It can also be one of the most difficult to get right, even for experienced designers!

Many people talk of having ‘an eye for colour’. But, using colour successfully requires more than just a knowledge of the basic principles of colour theory, it requires an understanding of colour composition - an additional ability to analyse the characteristics of colour that is just one of the keys to confidently building a successful colour scheme.

This course provides step-by-step learning and guidance for decorating with colour. Each module is designed to build your knowledge, from colour theory, to the practical considerations of putting a colour scheme together successfully. This will help you to develop a greater skill and confidence when working with colour.

Included are modules about the psychology of colour that will give you an insight in to how we respond to different colours and the ways in which they affect us, enabling you to you use colour in a more powerful and creative way!
