This programme will help preschool educators and professional caregivers, who are taking care of children from 4 to 6 years old, to understand the importance of using praise and encouragement as positive motivators, and helping the children under their charge build a positive sense of self, so that they grow up feeling loved and develop into happy, competent individuals. Furthermore, they will learn how to teach the children problem solving skills by role modelling, it can be very beneficial for children to watch adults around them make mistakes, admit them, learn from them and then correct them. Face-to-face practice stations are set up for learners to role play and practice their newly learnt skills. They will be introduced to the processes of child development and explore how theoretical perspectives can be applied to a Child's Development and integrated with the flipped learning model.
