You're now looking at the website, join Clubhouse-dot-com. And what you'll notice when you come to this site from your desktop is that you won't be able to access the site using your personal computer. You'll notice here that you also have an area where you can download an app from the app store using your iOS device. In order to take advantage of Clubhouse, you are going to need to have an iPhone to do it. And so the starting point is going to be to get the app from the app store in order to be ready to take advantage of clubhouse. Now, if we click this link, you'll get a detailed explanation of what Clubhouse is. And from the first two paragraphs, you're going to know this right at the beginning, that clubhouse is based on your voice and clubhouse is going to be a voice only application. That means that you're not going to need a camera and that the discussion is not going to be image-based. Now as the recording of this video, you are going to need to become part of Clubhouse by being invited to it. Clubhouse is currently not an app. That's going to be open to the public.

The only way that you can become part of the application is to be invited by a member that's already using it. If you are using your mobile device, or if you're using your desktop, you are going to be able to see the community guidelines. And what's going to be important to content creators is that you aren't going to be able to transcribe record or reproduce any information that you obtain a clubhouse without prior permission.

And there are rules against spam. There also rules against promoting any information that may harm another individual or harm minors in any way. And of course you are not allowed to conduct any illegal activities on the platform. So once you've read the terms of service, you're going to want to come to the page in your mobile application and you're then going to want to download the app from the app store we're then going to do is click the button and we are going to start the process of downloading the application. Once we'd done that, we're then going to click open. What we're then going to do is we're going to get our username.

You're going to be required to enter your mobile number. You'll then get a text verification code, which you'll need to enter you'll then click next you'll then pick a username. You'll then click next. What you'll now need to do is you'll need to be invited by another member in order for your ID to become part of the application.
