Welcome to this class on modelling 3D objects in Blender. This is the second volume of our Blender modelling series which focuses purely on the tips, tricks, tools and techniques needed to become a top quality 3D modeller.
In this class we focus on the tools used to shape mesh objects in Blender. Mesh objects use geometry (vertices, edges and faces) to construct the shape of the mesh. There are many tools that can be used to manipulate geometry in different, from adding new geometry to dissolving it. We will be focused on these types of tools in this class, learning how to both increase and decrease the geometry of our model, depending on our needs.
In this class we will be learning how to use the following tools:
Subdividing
Loop Cut And Slide
Extrude Region
Extrude Individual Faces
Extrude Along Normals
Extrude To Mouse Cursor
Extrude Manifold Technique
The Bevel Tool
The Inset Tool
Learn all of these techniques and how how to use them together in this 1 hour course.
