Beginner Bass Guitar Course - Music Theory

This course is your introduction to music theory and their applications on bass. Every subject we are talking about in this course is what you will exactly encounter on either playing live or in recording environments. This course is written by a bass player, for bass players.

From my experience over the years with hundreds and private and online students, music theory in general are held responsible for every bump on the road musicians may encounter. If a musician feels inadequate for some topic, they usually blame their lack of knowledge in music theory. Or they believe music theory is so hard to learn and they think they will never get it. Reason and problem is, people studying music theory from resources written for general musicians and there are no applications or explanations for what each subject is used for their specific instrument. Even if the musician studies it, they will most likely not have a clue about what to do with that information.

This course is designed for showing bass players that should not be the case. This course simplifies music theory and teaches you the topics you absolutely need to know and nothing else. We must say that, it is now watered down or for dummies. You will learn the subject and apply it on your bass. There is no walking around hard work, you still need to put in the work, but you will not waste your time for something you will now apply or have any applications.

After studying this course, you will have a strong foundation and will be able to keep on learning about music theory. This course does not cover every subject you need to learn and claims it is the only source you need, but it is merely an introduction. Music theory and harmony are wide subjects and probably has no limits, but learning the fundamentals right will definitely help you on your journey.
