What is Virtualization?

This course is designed to help you either brush up on your IT skills or learn to become an IT Pro!   This course may be for you if you have an interest in computers, but do not want to go to college to learn virtualization.  Virtualization is used in a lot of companies today.   Some companies that use virtualization are: Amazon, Microsoft, and Google.   As you can see,  more and more companies are having to adapt and use virtualization.   Why are companies wanting to turn to virtualization?   Well,  one reason is it reduces costs.   The companies do not have to buy a bunch of expensive equipment.   Another reason is it helps reduce downtime.        One of the last main reasons is developers can run a virtual machine and test their code in a test environment.   As you can see,  it is important to learn about virtualization. In, this course I will take you through hands on labs such as:  Setting up VMware, Vsphere, Servers, Networking, Storage, and more!  My goal is to help you understand virtualization and how to use it in your company or at home.   Virtualization should not be confusing.   I hope in this course,  I can help you get a firm grasp on how virtualization works in today’s society.
