But there’s a little voice …. It asks: Are you ready? What if you fail? What will people say? Shouldn’t you wait a while? Isn’t ‘living your dreams’ just something that happens in movies? Shouldn’t you ‘be realistic’?

That little voice kills confidence. It keeps you stuck exactly where you are.

That voice doesn’t come from outside. 

It’s you. 

You undermining you.

I’ve spent thirty years training people to take their next step. Everyone thinks other people have advantages - a rich family, a supportive community, a better education. It might even be true!

So?

Either that stops you or it empowers you.

You have strengths and qualities no one else does. It's time to use them.

Maybe you’re around 30 - that’s when dissatisfaction often kicks in. You’ve left education, gone into the world, got a job, earned some cash. One day you think - is this all there is? You look ahead and see decades of the same. It’s not enough. You want success, but also to live to your potential.

Sometimes it happens later - after decades of working to support your family, the time comes to fulfil your own dreams and make your mark on the world, not just work for others.

Some people know right from the start - you leave school and know the path that's been set for you is not the one you want to follow.

It doesn’t matter when it happens. When the call comes to take your next step - take the risk or settle for disappointment.

To take that next step, you need the inner voice to go away.
 You need self-belief.
 You need real confidence.

I say ‘real’ because I teach no tricks. I don’t want you to pretend you’re confident. I want you to BE confident. I want you to look in the mirror and know you’re ready to make your move.

This course is me being as direct as I can. There’s nothing fancy going on - it's me telling you things I’ve learned about changing how you think, from doubt to self-belief.

After thirty years of training and directing artists and performers around the world, mentoring business people and activists, writing and researching, in this course I share the principles of thinking on which true confidence is based.

My most important learning has come from working on myself. My inner voice has made all the excuses - a miserable time at school, ‘imposter syndrome’, parents from a poor background.

I know those voices.
I also know they can be silenced.
