From balancing point of view, I classify all chemical equations into 4 types. This classification is unique and my own. All the 4 types of equations are easily identified. Each type of equation has a unique and foolproof method of balancing. So one needs to learn only 4 different methods to balance all equations. In other words if one learns the methods to balance just 4 equations one from each type, one would be able to balance all chemical equations.

Step 1: Identify the type of the equation
Step 2: Balance the equation by the appropriate method of balancing
