In this course, parents will learn to form basic and simple hand shapes to represent words (objects, actions, numbers, etc.) so that they can begin communicating with and educating their children as early as age 4 months, long before children are able to formulate verbal expression. Learning a second language is now understood to help children with their intellectual development but Sign Language, which is a fully comprehensible and grammatically structured language, can be learned by an infant months earlier than he can begin making audio and verbal connections with the world around him. In other words, your baby will learn to communicate even before he learns to speak.
