This course provides an overview of the fundamental functions of AWS Elemental MediaLive, focusing on key operational aspects of live streaming video workflows. It includes a tour of the main elements of the user interface and a demonstration of the steps to create a live video stream using AWS Elemental MediaLive. In this course, you will learn to:      • Explain where MediaLive fits within the full live streaming workflow.      • Describe MediaLive component functions and dependencies.      • Set up and run a MediaLive channel for live streaming.      • Copy, edit, or delete an existing MediaLive channel.      • Create and run MediaLive channels using templates to streamline channel operations.      • Identify the ways to perform basic monitoring of MediaLive to track system health.

This course is intended for:      • New and experienced media operators responsible for the day-to-day operations and monitoring of video workflows      • Anyone who wants an understanding of the daily operations of AWS Elemental MediaLive

Prerequisites

We recommend that attendees of this course have:      • Completed the Media Foundations courses on the Media Services Learning Path for Media Operators      • Familiarity with live-streaming workflows
