This course provides an overview of the fundamental functions of AWS Elemental MediaConvert, focusing on key operational aspects of video on demand (VOD) workflows. The course includes a tour of the main elements of the user interface and a demonstration of the steps to format and compress offline video content for delivery to televisions or connected devices. Course objectives

In this course, you will learn to:      • Explain where MediaConvert fits within the full video-on-demand (VOD) workflow.      • Describe MediaConvert component functions and dependencies.      • Set up and run a MediaConvert job for video-on-demand (VOD) streaming.      • Copy, modify, or delete an existing MediaConvert job.      • Create and run MediaConvert jobs using templates to streamline operations.      • Describe the function and use of queues in MediaConvert.      • Identify the ways to perform basic monitoring of MediaConvert to track system health.
