This course provides an overview of the features and functions of Amazon AppStream 2.0, focusing on key fundamental concepts and settings to accelerate your company in deploying Amazon AppStream 2.0. The curriculum includes best practices to prepare for deployment and essential steps to deploy applications and non-persistent cloud desktops using Amazon AppStream 2.0.

Intended audience

This curriculum is intended for: • Desktop/VDI managers and administrators responsible for developing and maintaining remote desktop environments. • Technical professionals who work with, or would like to work with, cloud-based virtualization.

Prerequisites

We recommend that attendees of this curriculum have: • Completed Introduction to End User Computing course • Familiarity with virtualization and virtual operating systems. • Familiarity with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) or Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) • Familiarity with directory services • Conceptual knowledge of cloud computing
