Adventures Abroad English Program Level 1 Part 3

The Adventures Abroad English Program Level 1 Part 3 builds on what the student has learned in Part 1 and Part 2 of this course. Students will learn to ask and answer questions about the number of things they see and to talk about what they eat, drink, smell, hear, touch and see. Students will also learn the body parts used for each of these actions and simple adjectives to describe how things taste, smell, sound, feel and look. Students will learn the sentence structures to talk about singular (and uncountable) nouns and plural nouns using correct grammar. By the end of Level 1 Part 3, students should be able to describe the things they eat, drink, smell, hear, touch and taste with simple adjectives and complete sentences. Students should also be able to identify the number of things they see and talk about the number of body parts (fingers, hands, eyes) they have. Throughout this course, students will continue to review what they learned earlier in the course, while gradually building new concepts on top of the old. As in Part 1 and Part 2, I use clear context clues such as pictures and color coding to help make learning easy and fun, while providing virtual "face-to-face" lessons. My teaching method emphasizes student speaking and "learning by doing," rather than lectures and teacher explanations of grammar. This course is the result of my experience teaching more than 11,000 English classes, including more than 9,500 one-on-one English classes to more than 3,000 Chinese students with the VIPKID online platform. Each lesson includes a background photo I have taken during my travels in more than thirty countries. This English program is intended to be purchased by adults and can be used as a learning tool by adults and children.
