The 10 CEU Program, Stress Coaching: A Five Step Approach, revolves around a multi-level defense system against stress that was designed for Certified Coaches just like you.
This course combines Acceptance and Commitment (AC) Coaching principles and practices with my copyrighted Five R's of Coping (Rethink, Relax, Release, Reduce, & Reorganize) Model. The result is a powerful multi-level defense system against stress that will help your clients deal with all kinds of stressors and stressful situations.
Each “R” in the model , Rethink, Relax, Release, Reduce, and Reorganize, is a line of defense that uses multiple techniques to help your clients attack stress many different ways. The five different levels work together in a synergistic way.
Reorganize shows clients how to build more stress-resistant lifestyles based on hardy health habits. This is their core defense against stress. You get step-by-step instructions for teaching clients how to build hardy health habits across all seven dimensions of health. These gives them more energy, more mental focus, and more coping resources every day.
Relax shows clients how to shut down the stress response by putting their bodies into a relaxed state. They will master proven, easy-to-learn techniques that will relax them instantly.
Release shows clients how to get rid of the tension and nervous energy associated with stress in healthy ways.
Rethink teaches clients short, easy-to-apply, mental techniques that change the way they think about stress and their ability to handle it.
Reduce shows clients how to get rid of excess demands on their time and energy. They will discover how to use time more efficiently to meet their values-based goals.
