3D Type in Adobe Illustrator made simple

You’re going to be creating a lettering piece of your favourite motivational quote. It’s best to find one that uses a small number of words like “Hang in there”

I suggest doing a little bit of research before you start to create a very simple visual mood board of styles. You’ll be able to use this as a reference when you are creating your lettering piece. Remember the simpler the style the better, if it is too ornate the piece will look too confused and won’t translate into 3D lettering very well.

The final piece should be an exported JPG that will be perfect for you to use almost anywhere.
